Home Repair
Concord CDC offers a home repair program for existing low to moderate income homeowners. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program provides external home repairs for those unable to qualify for a home repair loan.
By stabilizing the structures that currently provide affordable housing for our long term neighborhood residents, we not only preserve our area housing stock, but gain a deepened sense of partnership with the residents in the effort to revitalize the community as a whole. To instill new pride in the appearance of one's home carries much weight in our mission of building homes, community and hope.
Federal CDBG funds are made available through the Department of Housing and Urban Development to the City of Indianapolis. Each year Concord CDC applies to the City of Indianapolis to utilize these CDBG funds for its Home Repair program.
