For years, the Concord area has experienced
social and economic problems typical of
urban neighborhoods nationwide –
abandoned and substandard housing, high
levels of unemployment, and a lack of
neighborhood shops and services.
In response to these challenges, Concord CDC
was formed in 1992. Its board is driven by
residents with representation from area businesses,
and other concerned Indianapolis professionals.
Concord CDC is making a difference by building
homes, community, and hope in the Concord area.
